Bo

This is what two weeks of decompressing in a new home looks like. Bo came back to us, through no fault of his own undersocialized and without much confidence.  His first few days in his foster home he spent a lot of time not being sure enough of his place that he never really rested. 
With just a little time and patience Bo has comfortably settled in and built some much needed confidence. 
Bo is a very sweet and playful 6.5 mo. old puppy. He is 35 lbs and shouldn't get a whole lot bigger. Bo is house and crate trained and rides well in the car.  Bo is excellent with other dogs.
In his new home, Bo will be looking for a calm environment with another playful, confident canine companion.  He would do fine with older kids, but younger ones might spook him with noise and fast movements. It will likely take Bo a few days to possible weeks to acclimate but once he does he will show you just how sweet, loveable and silly he is. Bo is food motivated so treats will go a long way in gaining his trust. 
Bo will need to continue to learn social skills in his new home, so we are looking for an adopter who is committed to putting the time in to help him be his best self. He is certainly worth the effort. 
Bo will be available for adoption in the next couple of weeks and will be practicing his social skills at the adoption event this Saturday. If you think Bo might be the dog for you come and meet him to see what you think!
